Initial Comments:
Pursuant to information received by this field office dated January 9, 2024, pertinent information has been forwarded to the Office of Long-Term Living regarding a decrease of three (3) beds at the above location, and the closure of the Main Building Evergreen I and Building 5 Cottage 3, which are currently at zero (0) occupancy (capacity).
Per this correspondence, this decrease is outlined as follows:
Building 6 Glenview Building:
- decrease one (1) bed, east wing, room 14 from two (2) beds to one (1) bed.
- decrease one (1) bed, east wing, room 16 from four (4) beds to three (3) beds.
Building 8 Cottage 5
- decrease one (1) bed, B side, room 6 from two (2) beds to one (1) bed.
Additionallly, the following residence buildings which had been maintained on this campus location at zero (0) occupancy (capacity) for both areas, will now be closed.
These residence buildings are as follows:
- Main Building Evergreen 1
- Building 5 Cottage 3
This action will result in a decrease of three (3) beds in the overall capacity at this facility from the previous 75 ICF/IID certified beds to the current 72 ICF/IID certified beds. This change will be effective January 10, 2024 as requested in facility correspondence.
The Elwyn of Pennsylvania and Delaware Media Campus facility remained in compliance with the Requirements of 42 CFR Part 483, Subpart I Regulations for Intermedicate Care Facilities.
